The fourth-seeded Pirate girls improved to 10-8-1 with the decisive victory. Playing a rugged non-league schedule made the Bluffton squad better than their record might indicate.

Fifth seed Ada ended its season with a 12-5-2 record.

Bluffton Foot and Ankle, a medical practice at 148 N. Main St. in Bluffton, has announced that it will close on January 1, 2026.

A letter from Daniel W. Kirk, D.P.M., to patients notes, "The increasing overhead costs have made it unsustainable to keep the practice open. I will not be able to provide medical care after that date. I will provide your medical care up until then."

Kirk will be providing care at The Disease Management Center located at 950 S. Main St. in Celina.

OCT 13 MEDIA RELEASE__A free concert brings to life the contrasting joyful and perilous times of sixteenth century Dutch Anabaptists. At 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, Wendy Chappell-Dick and the Anabaptist Singers will present a varied program of songs using historical words set to modern melodies. The concert will take place at Bluffton University's Yoder Recital Hall.

The musical commemorates the 500th anniversary of Anabaptism, celebrated worldwide throughout 2025. Many of today's Mennonites trace their spiritual roots to this movement in Europe.
