A public meeting has been announced for September 29 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 418 N. Central Ave., Lima, to allow public comment on the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) document.
The CEDS is a draft created by economic development leaders from Allen, Putnam, Hardin, Van Wert and Hancock counties to outline a regional economic development strategy to help create growth and foster job creation and investment throughout the region.

The Bluffton Police Department has entered a cruiser in the Light Ohio Blue 2025 photo challenge. You can visit the link and vote for the BPD cruiser one time per day. Voting is open until September 30.

SEPT 22 MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house marking the relocation of Fortman Insurance in Bluffton.
This celebratory event is scheduled for September 26, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at 111 N. Main Street, Bluffton.
This event will offer community members the opportunity to meet the Fortman Insurance team, explore the new office facilities and enjoy light refreshments.
