Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 8375 Phillips Road, is the host congregation to this summer's community Vacation Bible School.
VBS is from Sunday, July 24 through Thursday, July 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening.
It has classes for preschool through fifth grade. This year's theme is "Deep Sea Discovery - where kids will know that God is always with them!"

Dick Ramseyer, president the Bluffton Lions Foundation and chair of Bluffton Pathway Board presented a $16,370 check to the village at its July 18 council meeting.
The foundation is actively involved in securing financial resources to construct Pathway system identified in the Comprehensive Bike and Pedestrian Pathway Master Plan. The Bluffton Pathway Board established by Bluffton council is responsible for implementation of the master plan.
A graduate of Bluffton High School’s Class of 2014, Joel Ritter has been doing some incredible things in pursuit of his aspirations. After spending this Spring semester studying abroad in Nicaragua, he took some time to share what’s been on his plate lately.

I'm attending Miami University and am majoring in Spanish Education and Spanish.
