BPL UPDATES_Acrylic Art Class: Bike & Flowers (R)($) will be held Tue., Jun. 9 at 6:00 p.m. Join Hannah as she guides you through the process of creating a Bike & Flowers painting in acrylic on canvas.

Cost is $10. Register in person or online, as space is limited. Open to adults, and teens and children with an accompanying adult.

Geraldine "Gerry" Fett, 85, passed away on May 31, 2026, at Fox Run Manor in Findlay. Gerry was born January 25, 1941, in Lima to the late Walter and Gladys (Augsburger) Freeman. On May 18, 1963, she married Eugene Fett, who preceded her in death on October 9, 2023. 

Gerry was a homemaker and had worked briefly at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Bluffton and its women's outreach program. Gerry enjoyed crocheting, camping and visiting with her friends.  

UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE, JUNE 2__On May 30, at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers from the Bluffton Police Department assisted the Hancock County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol in response to a report of a male subject riding a bicycle on Interstate 75 and threatening motorists with a knife. 

The male subject was located at the Circle K gas station on Commerce Ln. in Bluffton, where he allegedly threatened an employee and other patrons with a knife and caused damage to property at the business. 

A great coach, teacher, father, and grandfather. To put it plainly, the world lost a great man. Maurice “Bill” William Croft, Jr., passed away on Sunday, May 24, a week shy of his 86th birthday.

FROM FACEBOOK__The Bluffton Community Pool announced that it is opening on Monday, June 1.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday-Friday 1:00-8:00 p.m.

Saturday-Sunday 12-7:00 p.m.

Due to the colder temperatures, the pool did not open on May 31 as previously planned.
