These sensory deficits may present subtly but can be early indicators of underlying health conditions or contribute to broader health challenges, particularly in older adults. For healthcare providers, recognizing the prevalence and impact of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions is important in delivering comprehensive and empathetic care.

Bluffton High School senior Kain Wright has signed a National Letter of Intent with Ashland University Track and Field. Wright plans to major in actuarial science.

Kain is the son of Kerris and Krista Wright and is an active member of Emmanuel Church in Columbus Grove.

The ceremonial signing took place on Friday, December 19 at the BHS gym with family, friends and teammates on hand.

MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton University is expanding key financial aid initiatives designed to make higher education attainable for more students and families. 

Bluffton’s Be a Beaver Program has been updated to broaden eligibility and better reflect today’s financial aid landscape. The program now guarantees full tuition coverage for qualifying students based on a Student Aid Index (SAI) of 0 or less, using a combination of federal, state and Bluffton University aid.

In the wooden desk beside you, a journalist flips through his ink-stained notepad as he writes an article about last weekend's bake sale.

DEC. 18 MEDIA RELEASE__On November 24, 2025 Paula Dirmeyer came to the Ada Police Department to report that she had been assaulted within the Village of Ada by a known individual. Officers gathered information from her and began an investigation.
