F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway, two of the best American authors of the twentieth century, engaged in an intriguing exchange on rich people: “Let me tell you about the very rich. The rich are different from you and me,” wrote Fitzgerald. “Yes,” Hemingway replied, “They have more money.” That repartee didn’t actually occur face-to-face, but grew out of words they had written. Both had a point, but Hemingway is thought to have won the exchange.

The term splitting headache is often used to refer to a more severe headache.  There can be various types of headaches with varying levels of discomfort or pain.  Primary headaches can include migraines, tension and cluster headaches.  Other headaches can fit into the classification of secondary headaches and include sinus and medication overuse headaches. 

Pamela Ann Bricker, 78, passed away on June 9, 2026, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. Pam was born on August 3, 1947, in Crestline, Ohio, to the late Paul and Alyce (Fike) Morton. On June 16, 1968, she married Jay Bricker, who preceded her in death on April 23, 2017.

This year's event features 46 registered garage sales, offering shoppers three days to explore neighborhoods, discover unique finds, and uncover hidden treasures at locations throughout the community. From antiques and collectibles to household items, children's toys, clothing, and more, the Bluffton Community Garage Sales provide something for every shopper.

A section of W. Elm St. is now open and improved with curb replacements and the addition of a tree lawn. Reporting to the council on the project, Assistant Village Administrator Bryan Lloyd said that the Village will now coordinate property owners' payments, which may be made now or over 10 years.
