Bluffton Public Library announces its March 2015 programs, opportunities, and services. Programs are open to the public, but when noted below, require registration.
There are several ways to register for a program: 1) call 419-358-5016; 2) stop by the front desk; 3) email [email protected]; 4) leave a comment on Bluffton Public Library’s Facebook; or 5) visit our website at blufftonpubliclibrary.org and click on the "Register Here" button, and fill out an online form.
Jammin' at the library's next informal gathering is Monday, Feb. 23.
It's from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and is an informal time for acoustic musicians. This program takes place on the main floor of the library during the winter months.
As a life-long resident of the Findlay/Bluffton area, to Florence Hunter "long" now has a special meaning. On Feb. 17 she celebrated her 99th birthday making her the eldest resident at Richland Manor, Bluffton. Members of her five-generation family, from as far away as Racine, Wis., helped her celebrate.
ArtSpace/Lima, downtown Lima, will host the 27th Annual Kewpee High School Art Invitational from Feb. 27 to April 11. The exhibition, which will feature cash awards, includes works in various categories, including sculpture, photography, painting, digital media, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, and drawing.
The Kewpee Exhibit is sponsored by Kewpee Restaurants of Lima, Ohio.
Artists from 21 area high schools including Bluffton will be exhibiting their work. A total of 104 pieces will be in the exhibit.
