The Friends of the Bluffton Public Library will holds its spring book sale from May 9 to May 13. A special Friends’ member preview will be held 5 - 6 p.m. on May 9. Refreshments will be available during the Friends’ preview.
Book sale hours for the public are:
May 9 from 6 - 8 p.m.,
May 10 from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.,
May 11 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and
May 13 from 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The sale will be held in the Richland Room on the lower level of the library at 145 S. Main St., Bluffton.
This week, The Icon talked with four third graders, Presley Nelson (student in Mrs. Bogart’s class), Olivia McCamery (Armstrong), Skyler Scoles (Raeburn), and Makala Nye (Kingsley).
What’s your favorite third grade subject?
Presley: Math. I like the math facts. Olivia: Reading. I read three or four books a week. Skyler: Reading. Books are interesting. Makala: Science and social studies.
