Boosters 4-H Club, received awards at this year's Allen County Junior and Senior Fair. He is the son of Bruce and Carole Okuley of Bluffton.Those awards follow:
Almost 20 Bluffton area residents – runners and walkers – will participate in the 9th annual 5K Mock Turtle run/walk, Saturday, Sept. 1, in Fryburg (near Wapakoneta), according to Rachel Mathewson.
The event is part of that community’s annual homecoming.
The area participants are part of an Ebenezer Mennonite Church 5K Challenger group.

The Et Cetera Shop, 111 S. Main St., held its second annual quarter week sale this past week. All clothing, excluding scarves, underwear, hats, purses and hats, cost a quarter (plus tax).
The Icon can report that the Et Cetera Shop sold 5,195 items of clothing during the week-long sale. Adult clothing was definitely the top-seller of the week, averaging over 600 items sold every day, according to Chrissy Lugibihl, store manager.
The entire Essinger family participated in the Zoom RedHawks Triathlon Festival at Hueston Woods on Aug. 26. This is part of the Ohio triathlon series hosted by Zoom Multisport Racing of Dayton.
Dave and Levin both did the Beginner Triathlon, so that Dave could help Levin through transitions and bike and run, etc. Levin is a stronger swimmer than Dave. Beginner Tri was 250 meter swim, 8 mile bike, and 1.5 mile run.
