Over 200 swimmers took to the waves on Tuesday's opening day of the 2018 Bluffton Community Swimming Pool. Swim team practice is already underway and swim lessons start in mid-June. Watch the Icon for details on those activities.
LACROSSE, Wis. - The 2018 Bluffton University track and field season ended on a high note in La Crosse, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 26 at the NCAA National Track & Field Championship meet. Gabe Makin (Elida) capped a stellar freshman campaign with an All-American performance in the men’s pole vault.
It's the community of Bluffton's oldest annual tradition - Blufton High School commencement. This year was the 137th annual "beginning," for students with last names of A to W.
The Icon provides viewers with photos of commmencement, taken by Jamie Nygaard, plus a list of the grads with their future plans.
Those plans range from enrolling in Bluffton University, Ohio State University, Texas A&M, Purdue, LeTourneau University and more.
One graduate is heading to the U.S. Army, some have already found positions in the workforce, and others are undecided.
