Brainstorming session in town hall at 7 p.m.

Transition Bluffton invites the public to its idea-raising launch party from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, in the Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St.

In addition to its launch party, the event is a brainstorm session for future events and project by the group. Cake will be served. This event celebrates the creation of Transition Bluffton, an organization that is bringing people together to build sustainability in Bluffton and beyond.

The achievements of more than 230 undergraduate and graduate students were celebrated on Sunday, May 7, during the 117th commencement ceremony at Bluffton University.

Youth who have completed grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 can register for a two-day stay fit class planned in June at Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Joseph Beagle, director,

This sessions are from 3 to 5:15 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, June 7-8. Youth should bring their bicycles on June 8.

Cost is $16 for members and $25 for non-members.  The cost includes snacks.

AKY 1 is one of Bluffton's longest-running unique license plates. You'll find it on a plum colored Chrysler Town and Country mini van. Its driver is Alan K. Yoder (Indiana alum).
