Free demonstrations - space limited, RSVP now

Bluffton University’s junior nutrition students will host the 2017 Lunch and Learn series from Feb. 22 to April 26 on the first floor of Berky Hall. The demonstrations are free and open to the public; however, limited space is available for each lunch.

Each session includes a 20-30 minute cooking demonstration, nutritional information and a full meal.

Meet Tabbi Geiger, a Bluffton High School junior, and the Icon's student artist of the month.

Tabbi has already taken Art One, Design One and Design Two, according to her art teacher, Vicki Garmon.

After high school her plans are to try to get into Texas A&M in Galveston. "I want to pursue the career of a marine biologist," she said.

"I enjoy art because it is a good stress reliever. I also love to see my creations in the end because I never know how they will turn out but it always shows what I am feeling. It just comes natural to me," adds Tabbi.

The sun shines in February and it's acutally not a bad day to work outside. Here's a construction worker at the Bluffton Hospital.

If you are a parent of a Bluffton elementary student, or an elementary student we think you were at the Bluffton PTO bakery Bingo night.

Jamie Nygaard was there and shares lots of photos with Icon viewers.

You'll find the photos below - could be that you are in one.

We see Mr. Closson was busy calling numbers. Did he call your's?
