ADA, Ohio - The Bluffton University men’s and women’s track and field team traveled to Ohio Northern University to participate in the Joe Banks Invitational in fields that were considerably larger and deeper than previous years. The Beavers came away with a variety of excellent performances.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men delighted their Alumni Day cheering throng with a highlight-reel effort in a 100-96 OT victory on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017! The Beavers improved to 12-9 overall and 5-9 in the Heartland Conference, while visiting Transylvania slipped to 13-8 and 8-6 in the HCAC.
Linda Pollitz, LSW, will discuss “Put Your Mask on First!” during a February support group meeting in Bluffton, according to Tricia Herrmann.
The presentation is part of a Bluffton care giver support group and takes place at 3:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 20, in the Mennonite Memorial Home Chapel, 410 W. Elm St., Bluffton.
She’ll discuss various caregiver responsibilities, what caregiver stress looks like and how to best take care of yourself, if you are a caregiver.
Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has been awarded a grant from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to support sexual assault victim assistance services available to the community.
The grant was issued from the Crime Victims Fund, available thanks to the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), which utilizes fines and penalties paid by convicted federal offenders to support victim assistance programs.
