Sydney Hoff, junior, involved in many school and outside school activities

The September Student of the Month at Bluffton High School is Sydney Hoff, daughter of Scott and Brigette Hoff of Bluffton. Sydney is a junior and is a 4.000 student.

Sydney is involved in marching band, concert band, pep band, jazz band, show choir , concert choir, math club, math team, Latin club, Spanish club, Art club, SADD club, National Honor Society, Allen Lima Leadership, Allen County Junior Fair board, Beaverdam Bunch 4-H club, Future Shepherds 4-H club, St. John Mennonite Church Youth group and is an AWANA children's K-2nd grade ministry leader.

Paula Scott of PS Web Essentials shared her top 10 Facebook tips in a Bluffton Center for Enterpreneurs workshop following Friday's chamber breakfast.

Scott is available to work one-on-one with clients in need of Facebook and other social media needs. BCE holds free workshops following each monthly chamber breakfast.

Through her company, PS Web Essentials, Scott is assists small businesses to claim online listings, improve social media, update website content.

What's your favorite Bluffton Hospital muffin? Cinnamon, apple cinnamon, cappuccino chocolate chunk, chocolate chip, bannana nut, blueberry, or something else? Attendees of Friday's chamber breakfast had their choice as the Bluffton Hospital catered and sponsored the breakfast.

Tri-County Family Assembly of God, 835 N. Main St., Bluffton, hosts a truck or treat event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, according to Terry Hunt, pastor.

The family event includes inflatables, treats and additional activities and is open to the public.

The Western Ohio Chapter of the Lincoln Highway Association will meet for dinner at the Black Augus on Main, Van Wert at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18.

The program at 7:15 p.m. features Mike inniger of Van Wert who will show his Roadtrek motorhome and discuss his recent Roadtrek rally across Ohio.  The public is invited.

The meeting is open to the public.
