Bluffton Public Library is still seeking donations for its November 2016 Holiday Gift Silent Auction. The deadline to donate has been postponed to Wednesday, October 19th, and with an average of over 7,000 visitors each month, it's suggested to make the best use of your donations and send up to 30 brochures/business cards. All proceeds for this month-long event go directly into the community in the form of library programs and services.

Nearly 100 students, faculty, staff and community members participated.

Nearly 100 students, faculty, staff and community members met at the basketball courts across from Burcky Gym to pray.
The group also walked through campus while the names of those impacted by gun violence, both locally and nationally, were read.
Bridge Home Health & Hospice, a non-profit organization providing home health care and hospice services, will offer training for prospective volunteers for two consecutive Saturdays - Saturday, Oct. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Bluffton Hospital, 139 Garau St.
Courses will cover the basic principles of hospice, understanding the needs of patients and their families, effective communication, patient care, pain and symptom management, spiritual care giving and understanding grief and loss.
The Inn at ONU features three performances of “Shadows of Poe,” during Halloween weekend.
“Shadows of Poe” is an original work created by Octopus Productions, based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Persons will be treated to original live theatrical adaptations of “The Raven,” and “The Tell Take Heart.”
The Northwest Ohio Theatre Fraternal Association presents the performances Thursday, Oct. 27, Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct. 29 at The Inn at ONU.
Appetizers are offered at 6:30 p.m. and the production begins at 8 p.m. each evening.
