St. John’s United Church of Christ will host the November concert of the Full Sound Chamber Group on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. in the church sanctuary, 223 W. College Ave., Bluffton.
The concert, which is free and open to the community, will begin with the piano
“Prelude and Fuge in E-minor” by Mendelssohn. The ensemble continues with “Concrerto Grosso in G-minor” by Corelli (arranged by Tsidqah Loritsch), “Romanze" by Wilhelm Popp, and a “Serenade for Strings” by Tchaikovsky. A hymn (orchestrated by Shalem Loritsch), will complete the concert.
Drive Time Driving Instruction will begin its next Bluffton class on Dec. 2. In addition, classes are offered in Findlay and Ada. Here is the complete Drive Time schedule for the rest of the year:

The Beavers held their own with #21 ranked Franklin College on Saturday, Nov. 3, but the Grizzlies overcame two late turnovers deep in their own territory en route to a 23-9 victory. Bluffton moved to 5-4 on the season with a 4-3 mark in the Heartland Conference, while Franklin improved to 7-2 overall and 7-0 in the HCAC with its 25th straight conference victory.
Polished Nails and Body Salon, 417 N. Main St., Bluffton, will offer a "tans for cans" special during a Bluffton food pantry drive Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9 and 10, according to Joan Frederick of Polished.
"In return for your donation you can tan for free or try the Red Light Rejuvenation," said Frederick. "We will also offer major discounts on services."
• One can donation is good for one packet of lotion.
• Five can donations is good for one free tan.
A Bluffton Relay for Life kickoff will take place during the Saturday, Nov. 24, Blaze of Lights. The kickoff is from 3 to 8 p.m. A Relay table will be set up at the Blaze, which takes place downtown Bluffton.
Persons may sign up teams for this year's relay. Holiday activiteis, candy canes and ornaments will be available along with sponsorship and committee information.

Apollo Career Center announces that The Ohio Restaurant Association Education Foundation has selected Carrie Hamilton, Apollo Career Center, as Teacher of Distinction in the area of hospitality and food production as part of the Ohio ProStart program for the 2012-13 school year.
