Julie Stratton picks the three winners in the October Bluffton 3/50 drawing. Winners were Denise Fett, Judy Lester and Sabine Holzheu.

Denise's three businesses stamped on her entry form were from Greg's Pharmacy, Community Market and Et Cetera Shop. Judy's three businesses were Ten Thousand Villages, Communitiy Market and Et Cetera Shop. Sabine's three businesses were The Food Store, Community Markets and Greg's Pharmacy.

This is one of the most creative plates we've seen in Bluffton. It belongs to Roger Huffman, a devoted fisherman.

Jane Anne Geiger Parati of Ashfield, Mass., formerly of Charlotte, N.C., died on Oct. 15, 2012. She was born in Bluffton and her parents were Frederick Steiner Geiger and Doris Stultz Geiger.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert Parati, daughter Nan Parati, both of Ashfield, daughter, Chris Parati Roseman and husband, William, of Concord, N.C., son, Tim Parati, of Charlotte, and son, Jon Parati, and wife, Lingyun of Woodinville, Washington. Grandchildren are Elyse and Micki Roseman of Concord and Giovanni and Asia Parati of Woodinville.

Ten Thousand Villages, S. Main St., Bluffton, will hold a one-day-only bag sale on Saturday, Nov. 10, according to Aphaphanh Nussbaum, manager.

"You may take 20 percent off everything you can fit in our special shopping bag during this sale," she said.

Bluffton First United Methodist Church will holds is election day lunch and dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the church.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu includes:
• homemade soups, $2
• sandwiches, $2
• salads, 75 cents
• desserts, $1.50
• beverages, 50 cents

Dinner is served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The menu includes:
• baked steak
• mashed potatoes
• vegetable
• roll
• dessert and beverage.

Dinner is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 10 and under.

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Wreck-It-Ralph" (PG) and will be shown at the theatre from November 9-20.

Show times are every evening at 7:00 and 9:30 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 and 4:00 PM. All shows are 2D.
