All-Heartland Conference honors have been awarded to four members of the Bluffton University men's soccer team, a school record. On Tuesday, Nov. 2, Dalton Taynor (Troy/Miami East) Maxwell Kennedy (Strongsville) and Angel Velasco-Urbina (Lexington, Ky./Henry Clay) netted 2nd Team honors, while Elijah Zimmerman (Archbold) was an Honorable Mention All-HCAC selection.

Taynor secured his 3rd All-Heartland Conference award. He leads the conference with 2.0 points per game and his 12 goals rank 2nd despite missing the first four conference contests. His 37 shots are 5th in the HCAC.

The Allen County Board of Elections has reported following unofficial results for the November 2, 2021 General Election in the Village of Bluffton.

A Celebration of Life service for John Patterson, who passed away on October 26, 2021, will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at County Line Church of the Brethren, 4227 N. Hardin County Road, Harrod, Ohio 45850. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church.  Arrangements are under  the direction of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

A Celebration of Life for Barbara Elizabeth Leightner, who passed away on August 21, 2021, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, 239 S Main St., Bluffton.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Arrangements are under the direction of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

​​Timothy J. Babcock, 62, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Hilty Home in Pandora, OH. Tim was born on September 26, 1959 in Bowling Green, OH to Bernard and Annette (Turner) Babcock. He married Shannon Currier-Babcock on March 5, 1982.
