Keep an eye out for Raymond and Liz Harner of Bike Crazy LLC in their new pedal and battery powered commuter vehicle. They drove to the east coast to pick up the ELF 2FR with room for two, a solar panel on top, and a Pirate red exterior.
The Bluffton University men's golf team shot a 477 over 27 holes at the Capital Fall Classic on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. The event at the Blacklick Golf Course scheduled for 36 holes was cut short due to darkness.
Leading the Beavers were a pair of juniors who checked in with scores of 115 on Monday. Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) and Nathan Eberle (Grove City) were a mere seven shots over par for the round and a half at Reynoldsburg. Eberle's score included a sparkling 36 for the nine holes in round two!
At the Bluffton council meeting of October 11, the Bluffton Police Department honored five officers with service awards ranging from five to thirty years. Officers Troy Hartzog, Officer Charles “Ed” Montgomery, Officer Nathan Jordan, Lt. Matthew Oglesbee, and Corporal Lonny Kent were presented with certificates and plaques commemorating their awards.
