Tonya Meyers says: "Check out what the Senior Citizens offers in its retail section"
"Members of the Bluffton Senior Center may have spent a lot of time snowbound this winter, but that just gave them more time to make beautiful hand crafted items for the Senior Center Store," according to Tonya Meyer, director.
She said that the Senior Center has carried American Girl doll clothes and now also have Bitty Baby doll clothes and Barbie doll cloths as well as doll clothes of all sizes.
"Bring your doll in and we will help you find something that fits," she said.
The Center also carries wooden items including toys. New wooden toys include a farm tractor and trailer and doll cradle.
"We have been busy making sunbonnets for the up coming Sesquicentennial. We also have many new styles of winter hats from adult down to doll size. Hand made, one of a kind jewelry is also available as well as tote bags, purse organizers and wallets," said Meyer.
The Center still carries rugs, table runners, placemats, baby gifts, pillowslips, doilies, pot scrubbers and wall hangings. The Center now with longer hours on the first and third Thursday of the month, open until 7 p.m. during the community.
