FROM FACEBOOK_Maple Crest residents Jim and Dixie Shaffer created a beautiful, patriotic quilt that is now on display in the lobby of Maple Crest.

The Shaffers created the quilt in their home during the pandemic. While Dixie did all the sewing, Jim worked hard to find the right star, along with placement and pattern. The quilt measures 9 feet by 7 feet and took them nearly four months to complete. Dixie has made over 60 quilts in her lifetime.

This beautiful quilt will be on display until Monday, July 6, in the Maple Crest lobby located at 700 Maple Crest Court, Bluffton.
