Two members of the Bluffton High School girls' soccer team were selected to play in the Hogg Creek Soccer League senior challenge game.

The girls' contest is at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, at Wapakoneta High School.

The Bluffton Relay for Life launches the 2012 season with the first set of committee and team meetings on Thursday, Nov. 3, according to Adam Blevins, Income Development Representative, East Central Division.

The meetings take place in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall.

At the same time, October was warmer than normal. This year's October's average temperature was 54 degrees. The normal average is 52.1 degrees.

October's average maximum temperature was 64.5 degrees and the average minimum temperature was 43.5 degrees.

The 48th annual Festival of Missions will be held Nov. 13-20 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton.
