Bluffton Public Library

Bluffton Public Library announces its May 2015 programs, opportunities, and services.  Programs are open to the public, but when noted below, require registration.

Every model of car imaginable was parked in the Bluffton Public Library in March.

During the month, children visiting the Bluffton Public Library were encouraged to guess how many toy cars were in the children's display case near the Preschool Discovery Room, according to Lauren Canaday, public services coordinator at the library.

Bluffton Public Library offers a new program for young adults. Titled "AudioFile Sync," the program offers alerts for free audiobooks.

Songs for Earth Day will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 6:30 p.m at the Bluffton Public Library. Join Wendy Chappell-Dick and friends for celebrations and laments about the Earth. Earth Day.. Chappell-Dick will perform traditional American songs that honor the natural world using dulcimer and guitar.

Take some advice from Dr. Seuss: "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child." (or to yourself - we added that phrase). A great place to start reading and doing lots of other things is at the Bluffton Public Library in April.

The Bluffton Friends of the Library will host a tea featuring Mark Twain, portrayed by Eric Rotsinger, in April.

The event is at 5:45 p.m., Thursday, April 16, in the Richland Room of the library. Tickets are  $12 and must be purchased in advance at the library.
