The Cube Ice Arena in Findlay, Ohio will host a charity hockey game between the FOP 109 Warthogs and the Toledo Police Hockey team at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6 with proceeds to benefit the family of Officer Dominic Francis of the Bluffton Police Department.
The game is part of the Hockey Helping Heroes initiative of the First Responder Face-Off Foundation. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with puck drop at 7:00 p.m. The Cube is located at 3430 N Main St. in Findlay.
The 2022 Bluffton Trout Derby hosted by the Bluffton Sportsmen's Club at Buckeye Lake awarded plenty of prizes, but not the ultimate lure of $2,900 for catching the #1 trout "Big Tom" named for Tom Diller. The longest fish was caught by Nate Crawford, who won $50.
