Gearing up for the 2022 Ride to Remember
The Bluffton Lions Foundation is ready to host riders in the eighth annual Bluffton Ride to Remember on July 16, 2022, a fundraiser for Bluffton bike and pedestrian pathways.
A variety of loops will be marked and mapped, providing riders rest stops with water, ice and snacks, as well as emergency support. Riders also receive a swag bag with treats from local businesses and a lunch coupon.
- The Fun Loop is 11 miles. Great for young families and new cyclists, portions use Bluffton's bicycle paths.
- The Ada Loop is 37 miles. A medium length but slightly hillier ride through the villages of Ada and Lafayette, this includes a food stop at the Ohio Northern University campus.
- The Main Loop is the msot scenic and is designed for recreational riders. The full loop is 63 miles. Cut-offs are provided as 23, 46 and 56 miles.
The ride begins at Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Rd. Check-in is from 6:30 -9:00 a.m. There are two mass starts: 7:00 a.m. for riders going 100+ miles and 8:00 a.m. for other riders. Riders can also start when they are ready. Support for all routes ends at 4 p.m.
Registration is online, where you can also order the 2022 t-shirt (attached below) and make additional donations to support Bluffton bike and pedestrian pathways.
The cost is $25 per rider through July 15, with discounts for additional family members. The cost on the day of the ride is $35. Printable brochure.
