The Council for the Arts of Greater Lima will host its third annual Holiday Night at the Museum on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Allen County Museum.

This year’s event will be hosted by Don and Sherri Fischer and include and evening of fine wine and drinks; a dinner prepared by chef Brian Keegan and Barb Cooley; live holiday music by The Ohio State University’s choral ensemble, Carmony; and an auction of local art and gifts, all to benefit the educational programming of the Council for the Arts of Greater Lima.

Two community meals are planned in December at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main St., Bluffton.

Meals are Thursday, Dec. 5 and Thursday, Dec. 19. St. Mary's Catholic Church is host to the Dec. 5 meal. Trinity United Methodist, Jenera, will host the Dec. 19 meal.

Meals are free and open to the public. Any monetary donation goes to the Bluffton food pantry.

The Bluffton Area Relay for Life will hold a Bingo/Quarter auction from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium.

The event features Pampered Chef, Origami Owl, Mary Kay, Thirty One, Celebrating Home, Houston Candles, Anti-Aging Products and Tastefully Simple.

Persons representing those companies will have items on display and will donate items for the auction.

Santa Claus is coming to Bluffton Saturday morning. 

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce has four Santa visits between Nov. 23 and Dec. 13.

Here are those dates and locations:

 

Saturday, Nov. 23 – Santa arrives in the old Bluffton fire truck at 10 a.m. and will be in Common Grounds, 101 S. Main St., from 10 a.m. to noon.

Saturday, Nov. 30 - Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will arrive at the end of the Blaze parade. They will met youth following the Blaze at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center.

The comedy "Parents Just Don't Understand" by Bryan Starchman, will be presented by the Bluffton High School Drama Club Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22-23, in the middle school cafetorium.

Tu Pueblo Mexican Restaurant, 142 N. Main St., Bluffton, will have special live music performed on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Guadalajara, a mariachi band from Columbus, will perform during the evening. This is the band's second visit to Tu Puebo.
