The Bluffton EMS will hold a chicken barbecue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, April 10. Serving is at the EMS building, behind the fire station on Main Street.

The meal includes one-half chicken, baked potato, green beans and a roll. Proceeds benefit the Bluffton EMS.
Desserts are available for additional cost provided by and to benefit Bluffton First United Methodist youth group.
The Inn at Ohio Northern University offers Third Thursday Tea at the Inn every third Thursday afternoon of each month from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. At Third Thursday Tea a featured speaker will be provided.

The annual Allen County "Senior Citizens Day" will be celebrated Thursday, May 12, beginning with a family style lunch at noon at the K of C Hall on South Cable Road in Lima.
Entertainment will be provided by the Al Best Band from 1:00-3:00 pm.
The event is a combined effort between Senior Citizens Services and the Allen County Council on Aging.
Tickets are $8 and may be purchased at Senior Citizens Services, 3400 W. Elm St., Lima, or the Allen County Council on Aging 215 N. Central, Lima. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Apollo students will spend the day learning about the dangers, consequences, and the positives of their on-line activities.
Apollo believes that now, with the top three websites being Google, Facebook and YouTube, and the exploding use of smart phones, students need to learn responsible and productive use of these tools.
