Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, is seeking public comments regarding the following proposed project:
State Route 12, State Route 696, and County Route 6 intersection improvements - ODOT is proposing to purchase right-of-way at the State Route 12, State Route 696, and County Route 6 intersection, just west of the village of Pandora.
This right-of-way will be used to improve sight distance issues at the intersection for safety purposes and for future maintenance activities along the roadway and roadside.
FROM ADA ICON - The bridge over Hog Creek on Hardin County Road 15 (County Line Road), west of Ada, is closed until mid-June while the bridge is undergoing a rehabilitation, according to Luke Underwood of the county engineer’s office.
The project, estimated at $220,314, includes work handled by the county and U.S. Bridge of Cambridge. A portion of the cost is covered by a grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission. The U.S. Bridge portion of the project is estimated at $170,314 and the county's share is $50,000.
Crime Victim Services, Lima, invites Icon viewers to become volunteer guardians for persons in Allen County, according to Elysia Bush, director of the CVS elder victim ministry and guardian programs.
A session explaining the program is at noon and again at 6 p.m., Wednessday, March 27, at Crime Victim Services, 330 N. Elizabeth St. Lima. A light meal is included.
