October’s temperature extremes were – extreme. The month’s high was 87 on Oct. 6 and Oct. 8. The low was 28 on Oct. 25, representing a 59-degree spread.

The 2018 October average temperature was 54.0 degrees, compared to the normal average of 52.5 degrees.
This year’s October’s precipitation was 3.71 inches, compared to the normal average precipitation of 2.68 inches.

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) will hold a team trivia contest at the Bluffton Golf Club as a fundraiser for the 32nd annual Blaze of Lights festival.
Organizer and BACC board member Derek Dukes invites you to "gather your best and smartest friends" for this event at The Mason Jar at Bluffton Golf Club, 8575 N Dixie Hwy. Teams of up to eight players are allowed. The cost is $150 per team; limited to 16 teams.
