It's approaching its third year, and it is already a Bluffton household name: Ride To Remember.
This year's popular Bluffton bicycle ride takes place on Saturday, July 8, and lots of information about this year's event is on the Ride's website: www.ridetoremember.net.
An initial planning meeting took place in late January and event planners hope to have up to 200 riders participate this year.
The first year (2015) had 100 riders. Last year's ride attracted 150 riders.
The Bluffton Farmers’ Market provided the Bluffton Community Assistance Program’s food pantry with a $500 donation at the end of the year.
Greg Probst, farmers’ market director, presented the such to Jami Crawfis, food pantry director. The farmers’ market has made this donation annually for several year.
Charles Hilty of Reston, Virginia, apparently didn't want to forget his hometown zip code, so it put it on his license plate. This plate is seen in Bluffton from time to time.
