Village officials revealed six major capital improvement projects proposed for 2017, 2018 and 2019 late last week.
If each of the six is approved, the village will embark on three years of intense projects.
Specifics are detailed in a three-page document attached at the bottom of this story. With these items on the council’s proposed calendar, discussion and decisions will follow. Each project has several items to be considered and those considerations are listed in three pages of the attachment.
Timelines and estimated costs are not included in the projects.

It's a Bluffton garage sale weekend thanks to the SHANNON Service Club and the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center. Here's the details:
S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club - at The Centre, 601 N. Main St.
• Friday, Feb. 24 - community craft and garage sale, 4:30 to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 25, community craft and garage sale, 9 a.m. to noon
25/75 raffle drawing, 11:30 a.m.
Admission to the sale is $1 with children 12 and under free.
Three former Bluffton council members submitted petitions to seek council seats on the Nov. 7 Bluffton general election.
Filing as Republicans are Jerry Cupples and David Steiner. Filing as a Democrat is Mitchell Kingsley. The filing deadline for persons running under a political party designation was Feb. 1.
Bluffton council candidates choosing to run as independents have until May 1 to file petitions. Four council seats will be on the November ballot.
The Village of Bluffton will participate in the 2017 America in Bloom national awards program.
Bluffton council voted to support the community’s entry by approving the $1,099 entry fee during its Feb. 13 meeting. The request for funding came from the village Tree Commission. The council, at the recommendation of Mayor Judy Augsburger, will use funding from its hotel-motel tax as the entry fee.
During the spring or summer a group of America in Bloom judges visit Bluffton to score the community.
