There will not be a community meal on Thursday, April 5, due to Maundy Thursday falling on that day.

The next community meal is Thursday, April 19, served by the First United Methodist church. The meals are free, open to the public. The meals are served at the Bluffton Senior Center and start at 6 p.m.

All monetary donations given at the Community Meal support the Bluffton Food Pantry.

Richland Manor, a Trilogy Health Services community, has been named 2012 Best Employer in Ohio. This marks the third year since 2009 that the campus and its employees have received this recognition.

A business plan competition awarding $6,000 in cash prizes will be
conducted by the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs, according to
Denise Durenberger, executive director of the business incubator.

First place will earn $5000 in startup costs. Second place will
receive $1000. Client memberships from the BCE will be awarded to the top three contestants. The financial awards are being underwritten by Reichenbach & Steiner CPAs and Sielschott, Walsh, Keifer & Regula CPAs.

Kerry Bush parked a chair at the doorway to the Shannon Theatre at 3:45 p.m. She arrived first in line for the 12:01 a.m. showing of "The Hunger Games."

"I've read through the entire series. It's not as developed as Harry Potter, but it probably would be if there were more books in the series," said Bush, an obviously avid Hunger Games fan.
