Bluffton High School girls' basketball team defeated Fort Jennings 53-30 on Saturday. The Pirates were led in scoring by Abbie Parkins and Averey Rumer both with 12 points each.
Averey Rumer and Abbie Parkins were named to the all-tournament team of the McDonald's Girls' Holiday Basketball Tournament taking palce Nov. 25-26.
Arlington won the tourney, beating Bluffton 65-36 in the title game. The game box score is attached at the bottom. Allen East won the consolation game over Cory-Rawson 54-21.

Bluffton High School senior Trevor Bassitt signed a Letter of Intent to participate in track and field at Ashland University. The signing was on Nov. 16.
Trevor will join Coach Jud Logan and the Ashland University track team next fall.
As a high school track athlete, Trevor is the school’s record holder in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.53. He is a two-time state qualifier in the 110m hurdles, a qualifier in the high jump, and won the Division III 110m hurdles in 2016.
Trevor has been named to the Academic All-Ohio Track and Field Team, in 2015 and 2016.
Several Bluffton High School soccer players received Division 3 district honors this week.
