Four Bluffton HS wrestlers won their weight class and two were repeat winners from last year at Saturday's NWC meet.

Ada junior Chase Sumner (138) was named Wrestler of The Year by a vote by the coaches. Mike Abbey of Allen East was voted by his peers as NWC Coach of The Year.

Repeat winners from last year included Chase Sumner (Ada-138), Andrew Foust (DJ-120), Luke Brown (AE-145), Cole Wilson (BL-152) and Deandre Nasser (BL-195). 

Liberty Benton girls' basketball team defeated Bluffton 67-23 on Feb. 7. The box score is attached.

14-4 overall BHS defeated Allen East 58-40

Bluffton High School girls deafeated Allen East 58-40 in a Northwest Conference basketball game tonight. The Pirates move to 14-4, 6-0 in NWC. The Pirates were led by Alivia Koenig with 13 points.

Bluffton High School boys' basketball team more than doubled the score on Waynesfield-Goshen on Monday, winning 78 to 37.

Luke Denecker, Bluffton, led all scorers with 25 points.

Feb. 7 at Ohio Northern

Robert “Bob” DiBiasio, the Cleveland Indians senior vice president of public affairs, and Jim Rosenhaus, the Indians radio announcer, will conduct a question-and-answer session from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, in James F. Dicke Hall on the campus of Ohio Northern University. The event is free and open to the public.

Bluffton defeated Pandora-Gilboa in girls' basketball, 57-34. The Pirates were led by Alivia Koenig's 25 points, and today scored her 100th career 3 pointer. The Rockets were led by Brittney Hovest, with 10 points.
