The Bluffton High School boys’ tennis team continues on its winning streak blanking Defiance 5-0 and perennial tennis power Lima Central Catholic by the same score.

The Pirates stand 5-0 after the two recent wins.

Bluffton boys' tennis team moved to 3-0 by blanking Elida 5-0 last week. Results follow:

Bluffton High School’s baseball team defeated Upper Scioto Valley 15-3 in Bluffton earlier this week.

Brice Rayle was the winning pitcher. Braden Edwards collected a single and 2 RBIs, Colin Phillips hit 1 single and 1 home run, Matt Bowden had 2 singles and Dakota Bricker 1 double.

Bluffton is 1-1 overall.

While McComb stops Pirates in baseball action

Bluffton softball and baseball teams launched their 2017 seasons verse McComb on March 27.

The BHS softball team, playing at home, won its contest 6-2. Libby Schaadt was the winning pitcher.

Also playing at home, Bluffton's baseball team lost to McComb 5-2.
