Justin Haggard gold medalist at Napoleon

Bluffton High’s boys' tennis team won its seventh straight contest this week, beating Kenton 3-2.

Bluffton won three single sets and Kenton won two double sets. The box score is attached.

Earlier Bluffton won the Napoleon tennis tourney, over Napoleon, Wauseon and Elida.

Bluffton’s Justin Haggard remained undefeated and was gold medalist winner at first singles.

Trevor Bunch and Ryan Sprague won first doubles, Levi Mikesell and Jaret Geiser took the silver in second doubles.

Third doubles of Tad Steiner and Jake Staley took silver.

Jason Bracy winning pitcher

The Bluffton High School baseball team moved to 5-6 overall and 1-2 in the NWC as it doubled the score on Ada, winning 12-5, earlier this week. Jason Bracy (2-0) was the winning pitcher.

Bluffton also beat Carey in a non-conference game 11-5. Aaron Belcher (1-1) was the winning pitcher.

Abbie Parkins has 6 RBIs

Bluffton High School's softball team bombed Ada 17-1 earlier this week. The win moved the Pirates to 8-2 overall and 1-2 in the NWC.

Pirates now stand 7-1

The Bluffton High School softball team continues in winning streak, as is stopped WBL Ottawa-Glandorf 6-3 earlier this week.

Highlights in the win were Averey Rumer scoring 3 runs and going 3-4 at bats. Katie Prater went 2-3 at bat, including a double and 3 RBIs.

Libby Schaadt extended her pitching record to 7-1, which is also Bluffton’s record. O-G had 10 hits to Bluffton’s 8.

Abbie Parkins has 4 RBIs against Leipsic

Bluffton High School's softball team defeated Liberty Benton and Leipsic in non-conference games this week.

Bluffton beat Liberty Benton 6-5 on the road, and Leipsic 11-1 at home. The wins move BHS to 6-1.

Libby Schaadt (6-1) was Bluffton’s winning pitcher in both games.

Bluffton High School girl’s softball team continues its winning ways, defeating Spencerville 5-3 in recent action.

The win moves BHS to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the Northwest Conference. Spencerville drops to 2-4.

Averey Rumer had a double and 2 RBIs. Grace Nickels also had a double with 1 RBI. Jazmynn Wilson had a triple. Libby Schaadt (5-1) was Bluffton’s winning pitcher.
