Bluffton HS softball team lost its first Northwest Conference game of the season at Ada in a 2 to 3 battle.
Offensively the Lady Pirates seemed to have things going their way with a solid 14 hits and 1 walk to lead the team to the bases.
Unfortunately only 2 girls crossed home and 13 were left stranded. Taylor Monday led the team at the plate going 4 for 4 with 4 singles and 1 run scored.
Katie Prater had solid hitting with 2 singles and 1 double and 1 run scored. Jazmynn Wilson was strong swinging with 3 singles and 1 RBI.
After having numerous weather related cancellations the Bluffton Lady Pirates softball team came out swinging in a come-from-behind victory at home against Minster 6-3.
Jazmynn Wilson started a Dinger Party with a homerun over center field. Sami Fruchey and Katie Prater joined her with their own homeruns over the center field fence. This was Sami's fourth HR of the season placing her at the top of the record book for single season HR's. She has tied Mackayla Wilson's 2014 record.
