Bluffton High School graduate and Eastern Mennonite University sophomore Hannah Chappell-Dick finished 12th at Saturday's South/Southeast cross country regional in Newport News, qualifying for the NCAA Division III national meet while spurring the team on to a seventh-place finish.

Chappell-Dick, running in just her third race of the year, stumbled twice as she neared the 6k finish line, but still crossed in 22:59.02 to claim the final individual qualifying spot. She also earned All-Region honors with the finish.

Several Bluffton High School athletes were named Northwest Conference "Scholar-Athlete."

To be recognized:

1.  The athlete must be a letter winner in the sport.
2.  A GPA of 3.0 must be achieved during the grading period of the sport.

You’d have thought it was 1991. But the players in the bus weren’t even born then.

Thursday evening the Bluffton Junior High football team rode into town like the champions that they are – escorted by fire and police vehicles and followed by lots and lots of cars honking, probably all the way from Columbus Grove.

WATCH FOR MORE VIDEOS TO BE POSTED.

Yep, you'd have thought it was 1991.
