Bluffton University is host to the OHSAA Division IV girls' volleyball sections on Oct. 15 and 17. Teams competing include Arcadia, Van Buren, Pandora-Gilboa, Riverdale, McComb, Cory-Rawson and North Baltimore.

With the Northwest Conference title on the line, Bluffton High School girls soccer team wasted little time kicking its game into gear Tuesday. Four first-half goals staked the Pirates to a big lead en route to a 6-0 victory.

Tournament
The girls will start the post season on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7:15 at  Steinmetz Field. Bluffton entertains Allen East, the co-NWC champs. The boys' team start its post season vs. Cory-Rawson at Riverdale on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1:30 p.m.

Bluffton High School girls' soccer team blasted Delphos Jefferson 6-0 at Steinmetz Field on Oct. 10.

Bluffton High School girls' soccer team defeated Crestview 2-1 in a Northwest Conference contest on Oct. 7 at Crestview.

The Bluffton High School offense only had to attempt five passes as they racked up 292 yards on the ground with four touchdowns as The Pirates beat Allen East 42-12.

The defense played a great game as well as Allen East was held to a mere 155 yards.

Noah Stratton started off the evening with back-to-back rushing touchdowns in the first quarter with 22-yard and 15-yard runs. Stratton led the Pirates with 106 yards on 16 carries.
Devin Luginbuhl ran one in from five yards out for the third score of the game in the second quarter.
