The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free community meal on Wednesday, May 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora
The meal this month is provided by the missions committee. The menu will be sub sandwiches, chips, potato salad, dessert and beverage.
Bluffton Presbyterian Church will host a chicken barbecue provided by Ted's Market, Pandora, starting at 5 p.m., Friday, June 13, during Bluffton's Festival of Wheels. Hot dogs, desserts and drinks will also be available.
County Line Church of the Brethren is holding its 9th annual Chicken Barbeque dinner from 4-6 p.m. on June 12, 2014.
The meal will be provided by Harlan's catering of Pandora. Tickets are $8.00 each and includes: 1/2 barbeque chicken, green beans, au gratin potatoes, dinner roll, and homemade pie. You may dine in or carry out. County Line Church of the Brethren is located at 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod, Ohio.
Rockport United Methodist Church will hold their annual Memorial Day service on Monday, May 26, 2014.
The service will start at 11 a.m. in the cemetery and will progress to the church. The guest speaker will be Greg Coleman, Pastor of Cairo and Rockport United Methodist Churches.
The church is located at 5505 Rockport Road, Columbus Grove. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The second annual Blessing of the Bikes, takes place at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, May 18, at Bluffton Trinity United Methodist Church, 2022 State Route 103.
The bike blessing takes place immediately following the morning worship service. The church will then host a barbecue pulled-pork dinner. Tickets are $7 and persons may dine in or buy for carry-out.
The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District.
The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m. on May 15.
Boxes will be available to be picked up on the last Saturday of the month, May 31, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church located at 502 East Main St., Pandora.
