Christian recording artist, JJ Heller, will be performing live in concert at Pandora Missionary Church Sunday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. VIP Passes for a meet and greet with the artist, photos, autographs, and refreshments are an additional $5.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing someone of this caliber to the area,” said Joanna Gratz, member of the Fellowship Board at Pandora Missionary Church.
Tickets are still available for the Ebenezer Mennonite Church dinner theatre, which takes place Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 1-4.

St. John's United Church of Christ will celebrate its 140th anniversary as a congregation on Sunday, Sept. 15, according to Rev. Carol Clements, pastor.
An anniversary service will take place at 10:30 a.m. and a catered mean will be served immediately following the service in Oppermann Hall.

Sunday's community worship service, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association, will take place in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium rather than on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn.
The service was moved to the school because of the possibility of showers and cool, windy weather predicted Sunday morning.
The service begins at 9 a.m. Please bring along your lawn chairs for seating.
Free live music will be held for the public Saturday, Aug. 10, at Ottawa Metro Park, 2632 Ada Road, Lima.
Families and others interested are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and come out to listen to local artists and bands while they provide music during the Rally Point River Ride Bike Tour. The music starts 11 a.m. with Daniel Sprague, Tim Heyward (Grace Community Church) at 11:30 a.m., and Matt Keeler noon-1:30pm.
Rally Point Youth Center, N. Main St., Lima, will host its 5th annual River Ride fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 10, according to Jared Diller.
This years ride will be out of Ottawa Metro Park, Lima, and will take riders along the Ottawa River. There are 20-mile ride for families, 50-mile rides for weekend riders, and 62.5-Metric Century for serious riders seeking to get their best time yet. Last year 200 participants took part to support the youth center.
