Louis Barth Jr., 80, died Dec. 12, 2018, at his residence in Lima. Lou was born April 16, 1938, in Cincinnati to the late Louis and Leona (Carter) Barth. On Feb. 6, 1959, he married Janet Barth who preceded him in death on Sept. 25, 2009.
Lou was a butcher at Kroger in Cincinnati and later retired from Dana Corporation. He was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church in Lima and Loyal Order of the Moose #199, Lima.

PART 1 (Click here for part 2 photos) - A highlight of the Christmas season in Bluffton is the all-elementary school afternoon concert.
Talk about a "sold out" gymnasium, this is it. Kindergarten through fifth grade musicians, under the direction of Alice Basinger, performed their tradition holiday concert selections plus new works.
Take a slow drive tonight through Bluffton. You'll see two families of musicians singing on the front lawn at 615 S. Main St., just south of the Dari Freeze. In the next photo you'll notice that the family dog that may not be a music lover.
Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Wellness Center was recently granted a renewal of its three-year/Full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.
Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.
The Frosting Studio, Bluffton, wants you to be ready for Christmas.
"Join us in our Christmas cupcake workshop," says Debra Stockford, shop owner. "You'll take home a Christmas cupcake 6-pack when the workshop is completed."
Stockford said the next workshop is at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, at her business location, 142 E. Jefferson St., Bluffton - located in Tommy Plaza.

Elementary
The Christmas service project is “Coins for Kids!” Students, faculty and staff are involved in a coin drive to raise money to “Leukemia and Lymphoma” for Christmas. Coin collection goes until Thursday, Dec. 13.
