Presented by Hancock Historical Museum on Sept. 7

The Hancock Historical Museum will host a farm-to-table dinner in the barn at Scarlet Oaks Estate, Findlay, at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7.

The restored 1850s barn and surrounding countryside will offer the perfect setting for this ultimate dining experience. The five-course meal will be locally sourced and prepared by Chefs Jonah Agner and Nancy Corle-Agner, owners of The Food Store in Bluffton. A carefully selected wine pairing will accompany each course.

Meet Madison Beasley. She won four Shannon Theatre tickets from the Bluffton Icon during the Southgate Lanes 1-K on Saturday.

The Icon promised the tickets to the last-place finisher in the event. Madison was a walker and runner, and just happened to cross the finish line at the end of the race.

Talking about carpal tunnel syndrome

By Katie Fultz, PA-C, ATC
Blanchard Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Carpal tunnel syndrome can be a debilitating condition, affecting several facets of a patient’s daily life.

This condition is named after the area of the body that is affected: the wrist. The small rock bones of the wrist, called the carpal bones, make up the floor of the tunnel. A ligament, called the “transverse ligament,” makes up the roof of the tunnel. The tendons that flex the fingers, wrist and median nerve run through the tunnel.
