Here's the Bluffton High School student senate from the 1930-31 school year. At this time, the senate had representatives from various school organizations.

The names of the members are above the photo, however, the names are not in the order that the students are sitting.

May is a busy month for the Bluffton Public Library. Here's a summary of programs taking place.

The Dulcimers @ the Library continue to meet at the library on Tuesdays at 1 p.m., and Jammin’ at the Library continues at 6 p.m. on May 7 and 21. This is a song-circle style jam session to which anyone is welcome to join. Bring your instrument, voice, or listening ears! For more information, email [email protected].

Bluffton University will present the musical comedy “[title of show]” for the May Day musical on May 4 and 5.  Tickets are $15 for reserved seats and $5 for Bluffton University students. They are available at Marbeck Center Information Desk or call the box office at 419-358-3239. Cast members are Taylor Blum, Alicia Loch, Beth Regula and Meghan Gibson.

2005 BHS grad says that smiling breaks the ice

Jessica Basinger married Ryan Meyer, from Bluffton, and they have five children: Gibson is 8 1/2 years old, Emerson 7, Adeleigh 3, Charlotte 19 months and she's seven months pregnant with a baby girl due in July.

Where did you graduate from, and when?
I am a 2005 graduate of Bluffton High School.

Did you go to college? Where and what's your degree?
I have an associate's degree in radiography from Rhodes State College
