Bluffton council will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m., Monday, April 30, in the town hall, according to Laura Ewing, village fiscal officer.

The purpose of the meeting is: employee matters: village administrator.

"The Bluffton We Never Knew" presentation Sunday at 2 p.m.

Fred Steiner, author of “The Bluffton We Never Knew,” will talk about the book during a program at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at the Allen County Museum, 620 Market St., Lima.

The book includes nearly 170 photos of Bluffton covering its first half-century as a village, from 1861 to 1911. Steiner will show several photos from the book and will point out things in the photos not generally seen by viewers.

The book includes several rare photographs from the museum’s own collection. Signed copies of the book will be available following the presentation.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University baseball team struck first but Ohio Northern had the last laugh with a 10-3 victory on Thursday, April 26. ONU improved to 22-10 overall, while the Beavers dropped to 18-14 on the season.

Gregory singled and came around to score in the bottom of the first, however, the visitors answered right back with a score in the top of the second before opening it up with four runs in the fifth and five more in the sixth for a 10-1 spread.

Re-introducing Natasha and Theresa Meyer

Bluffton has its fair share of twins. In the '90s, there were three sets of twins in Bluffton schools. One of these sets were two of my best friends, Theresa and Natasha Meyer. Starting with them, I set out to track down some Bluffton twins.

We all graduated from Bluffton HS in 2000. I managed to catch up with them recently for a quick chat.

When the Bluffton Farmers Market opens for the 2018 season on Saturday, May 5, it will mark a “baker’s dozen” for the cooperative sales venture featuring local produce, food products, and plants.
