TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Terre Haute, Indiana to the HCAC Conference Championship hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Friday, April 27. Day 1 of the meet was a resounding success for the Beavers.

Leading 3-1 in the top of the sixth, Katie Prater belted a three run double to blow open the game and Bluffton went on to defeat Allen East 6-2 Thursday evening under sunny skies.
Prater picked up three hits on the night including two doubles and she knocked in a total of four runs. It was the second straight conference win for Bluffton who is now 8-4 overall and 3-3 in NWC play.
