Marjorie "Margie" L. Moyer, 92, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, in CHP Defiance Area Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.
She was born Nov. 20, 1925, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to the late Jesse and Beatrice M. (Turner) Jackson. She married Robert Moyer on Feb. 9, 1946, and moved to Mt. Cory, Ohio. Robert preceded her in death on May 13, 2003.
First National Bank and First National Financial Services will hold a Social Security workshop on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at First National Bank, 1630 Tiffin Ave., Findlay.
This workshop will provide a general discussion about how the Social Security and Medicare programs work, discuss the important issues both programs face now and in the future and outline some effective strategies for successfully maximizing these benefits.

Jasemin “Jasi” Crawfis is the 2017 Bluffton Lions Club Lions International Peace Poster Contest winner.
Jasi is a 7th grade student at Bluffton Middle School, and the daughter of Jason and Jami Crawfis. Her winning picture will compete at the district level with winners sponsored by other Lions clubs in northwestern Ohio.
Entries were evaluated based on artistic merit, originality, and the best expression of this year’s contest theme, “The Future of Peace.”
The Icon, in cooperation with Shannon Theatre, is happy to launch this year's Blaze on Friday afternoon.
Bluffton Icon sponsors two free showings of "It's a Wonderful Life," the 1946 classic featuring the all-star cast of James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore at the Shannon Theatre.
The free showings are at 1:30 and 4 p.m. The showings are also part of the Shannon Theatre's Customer Appreciation Weekend.
