On the final day of the 2016-17 school year each sixth grader in Sue Epp’s science class received a small gift from their teacher.
Mrs. Epp gave each student a small sunflower seed in a Dixie cup.

The Music Faculty Recital will be the first performance of the newly developed Thursdays at Yoder concert series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 in Yoder Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.
The performance will feature some familiar faces at Bluffton while introducing the community to new visiting and adjunct professors.
The concert will feature a wide-range of styles from international music to opera, solo acts and duos, and instrumental arrangements and vocal performance.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University volleyball team dropped a three-set decision (25-16, 25-19, 25-10) to local rival Ohio Northern on Wednesday, Sept. 13, in the Sommer Center. Bluffton fell to 4-5 on the season while Ohio Northern improved 7-2.
NEW CONCORD, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision at Muskingum University on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. Muskingum improved to 1-4-1, while Bluffton slipped to 0-5 on the season.
Three late first half goals in a span of seven minutes right before the break were too much to overcome as the home team piled up a 31-8 edge in shots, including 16-3 over the first 45 minutes.
The Icon stopped in at the Bluffton Child Development Center as one of the classes was in the midst of performing either the rumba or a samba. It's was very musical and fun. Here's a view of the performance.
