This year 215 bicycle riders accepted the invite to the third annual Ride to Remember bike ride in Bluffton. Of those, 29 hard-core riders took the 112-mile Gran Fondo.
The ride supports the Bluffton Lions Foundation bike and pedestrian pathway project, which, when completed, will encircle the entire village of Bluffton.
Swim lessons are underway at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool during weekday mornings. Here are two views of the beginning class learning the ropes.
Registration is underway for players wanting to be on the Bluffton Buccaneers midget football team this fall, according to Zac Kohli.
The registration form is in an attachment below, or pick up a form at the Ricky Matter Center Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. Forms are also at The Scoreboard (Formerly Sports Warehouse).

Did you ever see a dinosaur at a car show?
Some of the cars at the County Line Church of the Brethren on Saturday dated back to 1929, but not to the age of the Giant Monsters. However, Bryan Counts of Spencerville is really into dinosaurs as is evident on the inside and outside of his 1977 Ford. (See his photo at bottom of story)

We don’t know Marlin’s favorite blueberry pie recipe, so we made one up in his honor. It’s pretty easy to create. Here's what you do:
• Turn over to 400 degrees
• Pie crust (buy it or make it – your call)
1 ½ cup yogurt
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon corn starch
1 egg
2 teaspoons lime juice (okay, lemon if you must)
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups of blueberries (depends upon the size of your pie dish)

sponsors who made the "Ride to Remember" day a wonderful experience.
The check-in workers, snack providers, and support team all greeted us with smiles
and words of encouragement plus we enjoyed the camaraderie from the other
riders.
