Dr. Susan B. Hyatt, chair and professor of anthropology at Indiana University School of Liberal Arts, will share “‘Water is Life, Meters Out!’ Revisiting the Lower Grange Campaign for Water Justice,” during Bluffton University’s forum on Tuesday, March 13. The lecture begins at 11 a.m. in Bluffton’s Yoder Recital Hall.
Stephen Johnson of Ada, an Irish bagpiper, will perform at the March PrimeTimers. The program is at noon, Tuesday, March 6, at St. John Mennonite Church, 15988 Road 4, Pandora.
PrimeTimers is open to persons 55 and older. The meal is ham and Swiss on croissant, potato soup, tossed salad, chips and brownies. There is no cost for the event, but donations are accepted.

DELAWARE, Ohio - The Bluffton University baseball team rallied with three runs in the ninth for an 11-9 victory at Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Bluffton will take a 1-0 mark to Fort Myers, Fla., when the Beavers hit the field again on Sunday, March 4.

A game that started very well for the Bluffton boy’s basketball team slipped away in the third quarter and the deficit was too large to overcome. Paulding dealt Bluffton a 42-35 defeat in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament Tuesday evening to end the Pirate season at 10-13. Bluffton Family Recreation fitness classes are in place for late winter and spring, according to Daniel Tinch, director. The new schedule started this week.
There are several new features and times of classes. One of the new classes covers Total-body Resistance Exercise (TRX).
